And you are right, I completely missed the fact where Subaru called Kali's power.
I tended to forget that when one spriritual practitioner call upon one god's power, not only the power is channeled but also the will and personality (kind of possession perhaps).
Oh by the way, as side note, I've been wondering.
What is the gender of The Sakura in your story? Since I assumed The Sakura practically acted as minor god (who usually has gender), at least maybe The Sakura has gender, except of course if you set as asexual :P
