Thank you for yourreview. :) I'm glad you liked what's there so far.

> After a 2 day binge, I've finally read all you have so far of 36 Degrees and it's sequel Family Matters. Even with the flash backs that you added, it took a while for this fic to live up to it's title. Now that it has though, I can't even begin to guess what you might have in store for us! I'll definitely look forward to reading future installments! At least I have most of the side stories left to satisfy the wait, that I skipped because the plot was so riveting I didn't want to be distracted.

Family Matters started at its own speed and turned out to be a lot more detailed than I had planned in the beginning, so it developed more slowly than intended. Originally, it was planned for 17 chapters plus Introduction, Epilogue, and the Interregnums, but it might be necessary to expand the number of chapters slightly to allow for proper closing of the various plot-threads. I've given up on avoiding another tightly connected sequel, Ameru and the thief certainly need a story of their own; there's too much material already as to squeeze it into this one.

> Btw, I think you have the most unique portrayal of Seishirou's tree that I've ever read in a fic. Most authors seem to ignore it completely, or just treat it as a normal tree with no personality, or give it too much personality in playful banter and teasing with Seishirou (sometimes Subaru as well). Your "Tree-san" is dark, mysterious, much like Seishirou himself. It's clear that it has been around for a very long time.

:D That's exactly what I was aiming at with PervTree[tm]! Though when all this began, giving it longevity & sentience was mostly a desperate decision because I needed kind of a tutor for teenager!Seishiro to enter the information about Sushun's untimely demise, but Tree-san was rather... insistent to be more. :)
