Wow... I went into this not quite knowing what to expect, but I ended up really liking it. I don't read much FruBa fanfiction as a general rule (there's too much room for it to just plain suck, if you ask me) but this was very nice. I always thought that they should have said more about the New Year's Ceremony in the anime... out of curiosity, did you get the information about each of the Jyunishi playing in turn from the manga, or did you make it up?
Other bits... loved the bit with Akito being sick in style. *snrks* And the parts with Yuki's parents... they never show up in the anime. I can't picture Shigure singing, though.
Also love Haru/Yuki, but that's just me. So I loved the bits you gave them. Actually I love Haru in general. And his outfit in this fic. So, yeah, I'd be interested in seeing what other FruBa you've done.
Only one complaint -- no spoiler warning! That bit about Kyou and the monster within him is a rather big one ^_~ I only saw the end of the series a couple weeks ago, and I would've been pretty put out if I'd read this first. So, just something to keep in mind.
